For reference, the reason I'm updating my BIOS is because I purchased a new AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and I believe that I need to update in order to use it. After the computer has booted up, ASRock BIOS will display the hardware detected on the first page that the machine loads after starting up.
It turned out it wasn't the USB drive or how it was formatted, but the firmware file itself that was the issue currently my BIOS is in 2.50 version, and i want to update is to the latest ive tried multible USBs, plugged them in in different ports, triple-checked if they are in the correct format, which they were and yes, i have extracted the file from the zip file.

SSD connected to ASRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard not detected by Windows setup YouTube.
